The Multi-Stage Core Sampler is a heavy duty, all stainless steel sampler designed to enable you to extend the sampler in 12-inch sections. This allows you to take continuous samples in 12-inch increments from 12 inches to a maximum of 72 inches depending on soil conditions. Multi-Stage Core Samplers are made of the highest quality stainless steel tubing available. The Multi-Stage Core Sampler comes with two tips: a core tip and an auger tip. The core tip is made of 400 series stainless steel and is heat-treated and case hardened for long life. The auger tip is made of 304 series stainless steel. The Sampler has an outer diameter of 2 3/8 inches and will accept 2-inch AMS liners. Slide hammers, extensions, liners and plastic end caps will work with these items.
